Let’s talk about the shape of the lips. We all want perfect lip shape. But the ideal shape for each person is unique and is already built in the the symmetry of your face. We always look at the area but often forget there is a balance to the whole. As artists we consider not just the lip itself but is placement in relationship to the entire face. The job of an artist is to provide you with timeless results. During training, we discuss the shaping a lot and we always say one thing - every person needs a unique approach, there is no cookie cutter! There is no need to strive for a common standard because it does not exist. There are “rules” to prevent causing undesirable results but no stamps here!
