Back from a weekend in Philly learning from @dr.subbio I was able to attend and learn without the stress of having to prepare for my next talk- which allowed me the ability to soak in his experiences and the messages shared. Key takeaway’s: 💉 Question it all. Know your “why”. If you’re choosing a 27g cannula to inject with, know why you choose that gage and length. If you’re going to try a new dermal filler technique, think critically and determine if there is value to add to your practice by doing so. 💉 Back up your decisions with statistically significant and reproducible scientific evidence. 💉 Stay humble and kind regardless of your talent and status in our field of medicine. I’ve meet Subbio a few times and he has always been kind and approachable- even if you have a topic to debate or a difference in opinion to him. His wife, mom and dad were there to support him- keep your loved ones close and don’t loose vision of why you are “here”. 💉 I need to up my social media game and create some original art for my educational posts- It may prevent burnout. 💉 We are in this field for our patients. It is a lovely and glamorous industry- but don’t forget why we’re here.
