I’m really excited about Spring/Summer this year. It’s not even that sunny yet but the promise of it is getting me so gassed. When it’s properly sunny I won’t only be enjoying assam laksa from my favourite cafe, stick insects and handsome boys, abalone soup from a tin, roast chook and gravy rolls, big bowls of spicy pork liver soup, large cans of mountain dew, custard buns that look like little pigs, feats of strength using cabbages at the chook shop, perfect omelettes, and mudshakes with my friends - but we’ll also be able to go to the beach and drive to the bush and play frisbee at the park and cook on BBQ’s etc.. feel very teen movie vibe rn or like Billy Idol Hot In The City or Jazzy Jeff Summertime (as an aside tho.. I do get sweaty in summer so if someone has a trick about how not to get too sweaty please send me a message)
