Cool things are happening! Today I’ll be speaking at the @bardcollege Micro college program at the Brooklyn Public Library to discuss creating accessible creative art Ecosystems through care, accountability and trust. Come hear how we are addressing mass-incarceration by challenging dominant narratives of criminality and safety and moving towards the removal of interlocked systems that cause harm. By reimagining an inclusive public for the arts, the @recessart team and I collectively works with partners, artists, and youth alike to build a more just and equitable creative community and ecosystems.
