last surgery of intern year with the bestest senior @dr_towens 👩🏾‍⚕️🥼 I’ve officially survived the hardest year of training!!!! I’m never going to glamorize how hard it is to train as an ObGyn (everybody wants the benefits of being an ObGyn until they realize how physically and emotionally draining the process is). I questioned everything and I’m just now seeing the light as I enter my second year. I’m happy that all this training has caused me to grow immensely as a doctor. I remember I could barely gown myself correctly in the OR & it took me about 20 min to close skin, now I’m running the entire surgery all thanks to my amazing co-residents & attendings.
