On July 4th i went to Crawford , Nebraska ( population 997 people according to the most recent census ) to document the great explorer, @bicycle_nomad for @aarp . While there , we got invited to participate in and photograph the Independence Day parade. People came from all the neighboring towns to attend. I've been all over the world but I've never been to a place like Crawford. It was very beautiful and prideful and felt somewhat like a town that existed outside of time. I've been all over the world and in all my travels I've never been to a place like Crawford. Being a city kid, it certainly felt like being in a movie advertising the glory of "real America".
