I have taken photos of people in beautiful garments for years but as I start photographing people in nothing but their own bare skin I find myself challenged with composition, shadows and texture in skin like I have never been challenged before. Instructing and coaching someone through a photo-shoot who’s completely bare and vulnerable in front of my lens has been a learning curve as well, especially when subjects have little to no experience in front of a camera. Most of the people in my portfolio have had little to no experience in front of a camera and people are usually surprised when I tell them, so I must be doing alright 💛 I feel my photography powers evolving 🦋
