Autumn in Chernobyl is eerily beautiful 🍂☢️ I love hiking in the mountains for Fall as much as the next person, but spending the night in Chernobyl’s Exclusion Zone during this time of year is definitely my favorite Autumn experience to-date. This city, centered around the USSR’s catastrophic nuclear plant failure, is stuck in time from when it was suddenly evacuated in 1986. Having visited over 30 years after the event, it was incredible to see nature reclaiming what man had made.
