Being a PMU educator, mentor and influencer has exceeded my expectations in every way! Not only do I get to change the lives of my students but help them change the lives of their clients. The responsibility to my students extends far beyond the classroom. It is the countless hours I dedicate to breaking our art down into teachable pieces. Doing a thing well is not the same as teaching it well. It is the mountain of research and development. The mentoring time I share with them and my team, so we can provide assistance before, during and after and so much more. There is a reason my classes are so different! I know what it’s like to have taken classes that left me more stuck than before, from educators that don’t have the experience or the acumen to teach. They repeat the skills they were taught but when pressed for the why they don’t have one. It’s madness! I love my students so much and I do everything I can to better myself for them constantly!
