Ultimate California Fall itinerary 👇🏻 Fall in Eastern Sierra is magical and it’s the best area to experience fall in California. And it’s not too late to go and experience it this year- you have until the end of the month! If you’re going on a spontaneous trip this week, here’s a simple 3 day itinerary to make your planning a breeze. This itinerary is best if you stay around Mammoth Lakes area. I left from LA (due to logistic), but this itinerary is also perfect if you leave from San Francisco! 📌Save this for your planning✨ Day 1: Drive all the way to Bishop area (this would be the furthest from SF and then you make your way up back to SF) Explore: • South Lake (the drive is beautiful but color surrounding area starting to fade. Check before hiking) • Sabrina Lake (best in the morning before 10 AM) • Aspendell • Hike the Gem Lakes or check out Juniper drive for stunning red/yellow/orange tree tunnel! • McGee Creek Day 2: • Sunrise at Convict Lake • June Lake Loop with stops at June Lake, Gull Lake, Silver Lake, Grant Lake- make sure to drive the loop all the way. The color is amazing and don’t miss the golden tree tunnel! You can also rent a boat in one of the lake to explore the lake. • Conway Summit (try to get here around 4-5 PM for the best lighting) Day 3: • Start your day at Wild Willy Hot Spring • Short hike at Inyo Crater Lake- teal crater with yellow trees surroun.
