I finished my first year at Longy with so many new memories, friends, mentors, and goals!! Thank you for everyone who was part of it! - One year ago today, I had no clue what to expect for this journey. Honestly, I tried not to think about it at all. I was too busy making sure my finances would be in order to fund what I was setting out to do. Not to mention I was so scared and anxious. I realize now that I neglected to be grateful about this opportunity I would be taking to pursue my dream. I didn’t think about how much I would learn and grow this year. All this to say, yes it was so scary and so much work… but the payoff has been so great. It’s not even comparable. If you are reading this, I hope that if you are feeling scared to do anything that you know you are passionate about doing, do it. It’ll be scary and hard, but you owe yourself that happiness and payoff of doing what you love!
