Hey hey you guys! Alëna’s here! Yes, here back in the states and ready to shoot the lights out of your big day!⚡️Not literally… as good lighting is always a must! 😜 But first, a Huge thank you to all my 2023 couples, who made my 2nd year in business an absolute blast!! Truly grateful to have the privilege of documenting the happiest days for such dope souls.💃 I’m so excited to meet my 2024 couples. And in case we haven’t met here are some fun questions and pics from Buenos Aires by the absolutely amazing 📸: @vandal_photo !! • 1️⃣ How did you get started: I’ve been making videos for over 10 years now. It’s by immersing myself in different cultures through travel that my eyes were first opened to videography. ✈️ Being an adoptee from another country I fell in love with the process of collecting memories. I feel that my exposure to changing environments has allowed me to appreciate things from various perspectives and remain calm and assertive in fast pace situations - such as weddings! I feel like travel and sports teaches you how to anticipate a moment before it happens, and that has been the best teacher... and also Youtube University!🤘But it all started with the GoPro college days filming hockey practice shenanigans, snowboarding trips, and a burning desire to preserve the human experience! 🙌 2️⃣ What is your filming style: Simply put, candid and cinematic 🎥 that means that i’m there to witness your most joyous moments, to capture them authentically without interruption. I film all weddings with 4 cams. I lean towards a more documentary approach with focus on capturing the small details and candid interactions to show your story as it really was, but of course with creative camera movement & fun compositions to keep your attention. 🤓 👇CAPTION CONTINUED IN COMMENTS… as this got too long for IG… 😢👇 SUPPORT your local photographers y’all!!⚡️🙌
