As we endure yet another week of heat wave and red flag warnings here in Southern Oregon, I find myself wanting next week to come. In this wanting and wishing, I’m missing the moment right in front of me. I took this video this weekend at the Nisqually Peninsula because the simple beauty of the water rippling across the colors and textures below made me want to stay right there and just enjoy the moment I had with @laboucher1 I’m sharing this because I know I’m not the only one that forgets that these moments are still available even when we are feeling uncomfortable about something else in our experience. Yes, this week will be uncomfortable and my nerves may be a bit on edge, but I will not wish away these moments I have right now to enjoy something simple and beautiful.
