A bit of a rough today... I feel like I explain accessibility requirements ALOT and despite by best efforts to see the good side, it gets to me... it’s a hard one because if I don’t try and have faith in people and trust that things can get better then I’ll just isolate myself and the whole inclusion thing is lost before it even starts. But it’s freaking hard not to put up walls sometimes... today was one of those days... there was a thing... and last time that thing happened we had the whole accessibility discussion... there were tears, regret and some solid promises to do better. I ALMOST believed it too until today when the thing came up again and the exact same approach was proposed. And it just makes me feel low right... teary, angry, can’t concentrate, tired, no motivation... so yeah sharing with the group! If you are going to use the I didn’t think excuse, try and not think about something different if you are planning to use the excuse again!
