I’ve said this many times but it bears repeating, this is the most I’ve ever weighed in my life. One of the greatest opportunities came to me not when I was at my smallest, but when I was at a place of unapologetically loving my body. Years ago images of my relaxed belly from the side would have brought me to tears, I use to avoid side photos at all costs. I could have so easily allowed my weight gain to keep me from putting myself out there. The truth is, a lot of us have that voice in our head that wants us to wait to try to be successful or do something big until we look different, until we get back to what we “use to look like”. Bodies change and fluctuate, it’s just part of the human experience. And to be clear, this is entirely separate from goal setting or working towards personal milestones, fitness journeys or whatever journey. Regardless of the journey you’re on, don’t wait. Don’t wait becuause you may miss out on something while focusing on what the future you will look like. Now you also deserves all of the love and opportunities that come your way.
