Does your hair not want to hold a curl?! Here’s some hair hot tips for you! - @redken Hot Sets 22 (now known as thermal spray high hold) is a game changer. Spray each section and comb through before curling. This gives incredible hold to even the finest of hair. - Do not curl from the bottom up! This causes the heat to remain focused on the bottom, making the curl more intense in that area (more bounce on bottom, little volume up top) and gravity being more likely to pull it out. This may take practice, but start from the middle, release tension and slide down, and work back up. This keeps heat consistent throughout- meaning longer lasting more voluminous curls. - Layers help! Texturizing helps! The more one length your hair is, the more weight will be at the bottom and the higher the likelihood the curl will fall fast or not hold at all. - For my finer haired friends, I don’t recommend a brush out. Use your fingers or a wide tooth comb to break curls apart. I personally love using @redken Volume maximizer sprayed and worked into my hands like lotion to break apart while giving some volume and control!
