Behind the scenes, here are a few shots from the initial concept to instal. There are always many people involved during every step of the process. - One of the things that I’d love to mention is a new app that I’ve been using called Shapr3D. I put @shapr3dapp on my iPad in January and since then, I’ve modeled almost 100 projects. It’s become a tool so connected to my work flow and communication as a designer that I can’t really remember what I did before? It’s been incredible. - This year we’ve developed a lot of new products that will be coming out soon and one of the most exciting things for me is that most of them are new material languages that allow for people to dream and request custom configurations. This allows me to design new products and post them up as concepts without making them physically until someone is interested. I see this as a beautiful way to develop a collection while being mindful of materials and addressing over consumption which often comes a long with production minimums. - I love that we “make to order” here in Los Angeles. It’s so rewarding when I see something that we’ve made fit perfectly into a clients home. - Whether it be sofas or shelving... we’re here for it!
