Last night someone told me that while we’re always a joyful bunch, something was especially amplified. I think it was our Joni experience. The first hand experience of seeing the full power of the thing we all love the most-music. Or maybe it was because we have Braelyn with us watching us chase our dreams. Maybe this is just what it feels like when your dreams you didn’t even know to dream come true. I’m headed to Milwaukee, my hometown, today. I’m especially emotional thinking about how scared I was when I left. How I had no job. I didn’t even have a lease signed. I kept thinking “did I make a mistake?” I knew it was the right thing for me to leave my comfort zone but fear has a special way of staring you in the face when you’re all alone. I think the only thing I know for certain is to push yourself always. And surround yourself with folks who see that and support you. 1.
