I had the incredible opportunity to shoot and experience the new @rebeccalouiselaw exhibit, Awakening, at @honolulumuseum for @hanahoumag. The exhibit consists of two galleries filled floor to ceiling with dried flowers and foliage secured by copper wire. The materials were sourced locally and over seas and were created and installed by hundreds of local volunteers alongside the artist herself. The exhibit is set up in a way where you can walk within it; weaving in and out of the different sections. Some of the sections are organized by color, others by flower type and some like this, an ethereal mix of color and texture. If you haven’t already had the chance, the exhibit will be up for the next year :)
