My most vivid memory of carnival back home is a shot of my siblings and me as kids looking up from the street into the lens of whoever captured that moment. I always wanted to participate in the festivities as an adult. Capturing this year’s parade gave me so much nostalgia and brought me so much pride for the island I call home.
