✨ Sea Bass Saturday ✨ There's nothing quite like the taste of your very own home cooked meal. We've been drooling in anticipation for this recipe all week: roasted garlic and shallot panko crusted sea bass over carrot puree. Believe us, it tastes as good as it sounds! Preparation: 20 minutes
Cook time: 25 minutes
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup panko (Japanese breadcrumbs)
1 shallot, minced
2 tablespoons chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
Zest of 1 lemon
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
2 5-6 oz sea bass fillets
1 tablespoon of roasted garlic mayonnaise
1. Heat the oven to 350 degrees F. Melt butter in a small pot. Stir in the breadcrumbs, shallot, the parsley, lemon zest, and season with salt and pepper.
2. Sprinkle both sides of the sea bass fillets with salt and pepper. Pan sear first and then spread the layer of mayonnaise on top of each fillet then press the panko mixture on top. Bake until golden brown (15-20 minutes).
