If you came to my rehearsal, you came to my show. On the day of, I won’t sing every song in the setlist to preserve my voice. But the songs I do sing will have all the same energy, emotion and conviction as if there were an audience. The consistency you see in my performances is muscle memory. Every time I open my mouth, I’m training my mind, body, spirit and energy to go THERE. Thank you to Jules who supported my unconventional vision of starting with this song, Precious Memories, coming from the back. That whole record is the soundtrack to my childhood.
