Very proud of this issue. Unity! Anarchy! Legacy! is a celebration of the power and brilliance of the trans+ community 🏳️‍⚧️ One of the (many) joys of working at GAY TIMES is that we get to support, platform and champion trans, non-binary and gender non-conforming people to such a huge audience all year round. But this issue felt extra special, dedicating every feature and interview to the voices, experiences and histories of trans+ people across the world. A huge thank you to Joel Palmer @_boyheart_ , the entire production team, and our stunning models for such an incredible cover shoot, and to @jamie_windust for a brilliant cover story conversation. I’d also like to personally thank the trans and non-binary members of the GAY TIMES team – @wonghollie, Jamie Windust, @evolutionofelliot, @shirazkook and @spencerrfreitas – who contributed their insight, talent and creativity to this issue. This special issue is part of a wider campaign in partnership with our philanthropic initiative Amplifund and creative agency Grey London. LGBT – Incomplete Without The T (hence the missing T in the GAY TIMES masthead) is a direct response to the increased transphobia in this country and around the world.
