Noir marks the second original new musical I choreographed this year. An ode to the classic film noir genre, I created movement that represents one’s sexual desire, heartbreak, love, loss, anger, and loneliness. Thank you Darko, Duncan, and Kyle for supporting the idea that dance can bring these moments to life. Working with incredible triple threats (some who I’ve known forever and some I just met) allowed me to explore without limits. Shoutout to my Associate @connorschwantes who makes life easier by just being around him. The cherry on top was getting to create on my incredible fiancé @d_guzz , who’s generosity in this process elevated my work greatly.
