The road to healing is uncomfortable. The old heartaches, pains and bad habits must be revealed and die to you, in order for new life and growth to happen. The stripping of everything you once knew, hurts. The transformation is not pretty nor does it look the same for each person. It takes courage to go through fire. You can’t mask it by burying yourself in work, training or numbing. You have to face it, head on- look at all the ugly bits, take accountability for your own faults and short comings and let the one who created you, align you with His purpose. We are all lost in this world trying to figure out where we belong. People break our hearts, the world is cruel and unfair but the choice to live free of the bondage tied to our past is ours. Jesus sacrificed everything so He can walk with us and guide us in this life. The choice is ours, to live for the world or live for Him. 🤍
