Happy National Red Wine Day! We got an early start on one of our favorite wine holidays of the year by hosting a fabulous ERA Elite Exclusive Drew Vineyard Walk & Luncheon on Saturday at our Mount Veeder property that produces not just a critically acclaimed Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon but also a very well received Single Vineyard Chardonnay. @alphaomegavintners Robin and Michelle Baggett, Winemaker and birthday boy @matt_brain_ and Assistant Winemaker @melissaeparis hosted this intimate and truly magnificent experience in the vineyard 1,500-feet in elevation. A delicious three-course gourmet lunch prepared by @chefjmcq included a to-die-for Maine lobster with savory corn crème brûlée and smoked tomato that paired beautifully with our Chardonnay Drew Vineyard 2020. We also showcased from Drew Vineyard our Chardonnay 2019, Cabernet Sauvignon 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019 and a barrel sample of our 2021. Alpha Omega Late Harvest Napa Valley 2012 was the perfect ending to a beautiful afternoon that was highlighted by the soothing tunes of guitarist Cody Martin.
