I’m just speaking to how fat people are still excluded from the entire world of fashion- especially from most major designers. The fashion industry has continuously told us that it is just “too hard” to accommodate us. But will spend millions on a single show. I’ve seen small businesses accomplish this so why not major designers or main stream? When we are excluded we are told that our bodies are not worthy of high fashion or trends or even basics. I truly think designers are afraid to lose their audiences if they include too many of us. Has it improved? Sure. But we have a long way to go.
