The amount of pain I push through some nights amazes me. PCOS flare ups and the pain of endometriosis make me feel like I can keel over at any moment. Coupled with the mental toughness of a pending divorce trial rocks me to my core. To my PCOS / Endometriosis Cysters and anyone else PRESSING through this life: This life is intense, but we keep pressing. This life is costly, but we keep producing. And it hurts sometimes but we’re brave enough to go to work anyway, lift somebody else and go home with bags below our pretty little eyes. Living fully is worth the cost. If you’ve made the decision to work, give, live, stand, press and succeed, even when it feels like you might break at any moment, I want you to know you’re not by yourself. I HATE pitty parties, but at 40 I’ve also decided that I hate making believe everything is perfect. I’m ok with pressing through human imperfection. I’m a spirit in a flawed body. I’ve decided a part of aging gracefully, is aging truthfully and well rounded. You can sing, hurt, work, laugh, push, stand and fly home to your bed all in the same life. Pain won’t break my spirit. One things for sure though, it’s ok to simply do the best you can and no more. You’re human. You’re loved. Flaws, pain, life and all, you’re enough. I’m enough. We’re enough. So shout out to my #cysters and endometriosis survivors. We’re in this together. I know your pain deep in my SOUL. It hurts! Still, give life your all anyway. You ARE appreciated.
