It was a sincere pleasure meeting @andrewdavidrimby and @daniellenero_realtor yesterday at the @nassaumuseum to record an episode of Andrew’s podcast @ivorytowerboilerroom! The episode, which will be released in August, will be on the Gilded Age on Long Island, relating the series @gildedagehbo to Gilded Era mansions and families on Long Island. Among them were Childs Frick (son of steel magnate Henry Clay Frick) and his family, who lived in this Ogden Codman Jr.-designed house (previously occupied by Lloyd Stephens Bryce) from 1919 until Mr. Frick’s death in 1965. The property eventually became the Nassau County Museum of Art in 1989.
