Time for a celebration? Yes, of course, I could only salute the hard work & dedication of Phil Darimont for his creative direction & vision on my side, Anthony for his beautiful artwork, Christian for his striking video work, Vincent Quittard for his distribution management and of course Manoo & Alex Finkin for their amazing music. All this between Lyon, Paris & Berlin. But right now, I would like to take the opportunity to show my love & respect for the people that envisioned, created & nurtured this virtual House Music paradise called Traxsource. For 18 years, Brian, Marc, Sheldon & their team have been serving & developing the community they have been incarnating their entire life: music people for music people. For us, the DJs, the music lovers, the music makers, and the label owners, they created a place that would help us to find a stage, to be heard more easily, a home for those who belong to the true values of House Music and want to share their message. As they would have done it for themselves. As they are just like us. God knows how many storms the digital & music world has been going through in nearly 2 decades, without mentioning the general state of the world going upside down. They stood up, resisted & persevered. For us. With us. They understood that they were more than "a download store for DJs". They understood that the core of any music tribe is the community and that a community lives through support, unity and authenticity. They stuck to their mission whatever the "capitalistic weather forecast" was. They stayed focused, respectful & humble in front of the mission. And I'm truly thankful they never gave up and kept motivating me & all the others to keep doing what we do. Never take for granted to still have a place, a stage, a community to keep expressing yourself. It is one of the most precious things we have. Let's protect it. Let's care about each other and remain authentic. That is the only thing we truly have in control. Anything else is an illusion...
