TRANSFORM AND BE TRANSFORMED: A DIALOGUE BETWEEN THE STUDIO AND THE URBAN SPACE With a busy summer underway, fall will be here sooner than we know! In his unique 6-week class participants will be invited to engage with photography as a multidisciplinary process which dialogues with sculpture, scenography and performance. Every transformation process starts with matter: participants are challenged to engage with collected materials and apply them physically to their visual storytelling. This process will be used to investigate and to enter in contact with the urban space and the complexity and richness of different micro-cultural identities that form the layered visual and material fabric of various neighborhoods around the city. The works presented at the end of this programme will reflect this approach, combining visual outputs with ephemeral sculptures and installations.
