There is nothing more sacred than the female body. It is where the miracle of life can be created. The body is like the earth; it provides nutrients, oxygen, and all things essential for life. It is a beautiful and remarkable thing. Day by day I am embracing my femininity and in constant awe at the capabilities of my body... not just mine, but all bodies. Seeing my friends and family create a life form inside of them, deliver, and love another human is one of the most precious phenomenons I’ve ever seen. It saddens me when I think about not worshiping my body more. Not taking care of it like it deserves. Destroying it. It makes me feel like that is what we are doing to Mother Nature. Cities being built at the cost of cutting down our trees. I feel sorry for the animals losing their homes. I feel sorry for our ecosystems, for global warming, for this world... we must treat ourselves better and we must treat this earth better. We need to make changes. We need to make impacts... we have to save our planet and the only way we can do that is if we start loving it and loving ourselves.
