How I am designing around my builder grade bathroom! Learning to love what you have is a practice I try and live by in many aspects of my life. In my home, it’s given me the ability to develop my style and taste in a way that feels unique to me. While fully gutting your space and starting from scratch can be so fun, I’d argue you may learn more about design when starting out with a set of constrains. In this case, a grey builder grade bathroom. I also believe that adding character to your builder grade space does NOT have to mean peel and stick tile, or plastering over existing tile, or throwing a statement wall paper up. I much prefer to work with what I have, deeply consider the components of the space, and find balance by using the elements of the earth as a framework. Hope you enjoy!
