Photographer @grraceface shares more behind this shot: "The best part about backpacking in the Eastern Sierra during the summer nights is when the Milky Way core becomes visible early on in the night. On this evening, the clouds rolled in and partially covered the Milky Way core. Despite the cloud coverage, I took the chance to capture a moment when the Core was visible, creating a dreamy night sky. This final image is a composite with a photo from blue hour, and a shot of the night sky. Whenever you have an opportunity to create a magical image, go for it!
