This dress definitely put my engineering to test, because the dress is about 5ft in diameter by 5ft in height but needed to collapse down to 3ftx2ft for transport and backstage. With those constraints, I couldn't use an ideal rigid structure to keep the 90 degree angles of the tiers. It was definitely a feat, and I am glad I figured it out.
