“I want bigger legs”
This pretty much sums up my first conversation with @aurae.a
And let me tell you - she has delivered 🔥
Getting fed up with being the ‘skinny friend’ is something which I deeply relate to
Feeling like you don’t have any curves
Clothes hanging off, having no butt 🍑
It sounds like a joke...
I remember once being called ‘ungrateful’ for complaining about my naturally lanky build
But in a world of booty scrunch leggings & kimmy k it DOES get to you.
So when Alysée told me her goal was to get thicc, naturally I was very keen to help 🤩
This is the progress she has made in the last 6 weeks!💪
It hasn’t been plain sailing from the start
Alysée doesn’t have godlike genetics or much of an appetite (she also hates vegetables 😅)
BUT what she does have is a clear vision, work ethic & a growing passion for strength training 👏
So how has Alysée made this insane progress?
1️⃣ Every week she focuses on progressive overload by tracking the weights she has lifted during each session in my app. This means we can set targets and progress together - she’s recently smashed out a PB 200kg set on the leg press 🤩
2️⃣ She EATS 😍 no restricting and using food to fuel sessions. Alysée didn’t have a strong appetite at the beginning but she’s been a trooper with prepping meals and sticking with the plan - now she’s eating 2,500 calories easy 😋
3️⃣ Trusting the process & knowing its a marathon and not a sprint! Building muscle is a VERY slow process. Alysée has gained 2.5kg but abs are still visible & excess fat hasn’t been added. If you’re constantly looking to push scale weight up rapidly then chances are you’re gaining too much fat which will only have to be stripped back off again afterwards (making the process 10x harder).
This is only the beginning for Alysée and I’m very excited to see how she progresses through this building phase 🤩
