Congrats Queen 👑 @onyinye_ibeziako What God cannot do, does not exist! Yesterday, the actualization of every dream I’ve ever had came true. I matched at my NUMBER #1 and dream program @utswurology. I can finally say with complete certainty that I am going to be a urologist. I AM GOING TO BE A SURGEON 😭👩🏾‍⚕️. This was the most difficult and trying thing I have ever done in my life. And looking at representation in medicine and urology, I am one of TWO of the FIRST Black women at Tufts University School of Medicine to achieve this feat. The barriers we faced were more than we could count and the state of struggling became our norm. Opening up that envelope yesterday reassured me that God had been blessing every piece of work I put forward to lead me to this very point. I will never thank Him enough for bringing me here and for every single person he put in my life to pray for me, guide me, mentor me, or whisper a word of encouragement to me on this journey. Thinking of the love I have received from friends and family in these past 4 years brings tears to my eyes.
