A big thank you to all who participated in the Siesta Campers Fuseta Beach Clean! With the help of our staff and volunteers during 3 hours we were able to collect and remove over 350 kg of trash from one of Algarve’s most magical and peaceful places! Thanks to your collaboration, we joined @oceanoazulfoundation and countless organizations involved in cleanups across Portugal. The early results are in! In the last 7 days there were 90 coastal & underwater cleanup activities. 4.5 tonnes of garbage was collected by over 1000 volunteers and 30 km of coastline was cleaned! ✨ These numbers are likely significantly higher! Great example of union and mobilization, congratulations! A special thank you to Erika, one of our volunteers who celebrated her birthday on the day of the action. For her birthday present, she asked for her family to join her in cleanup effort. What a beautiful way to spend time with loved ones. We hope you enjoy this recap video!
