God is always there.“ - @donutstedoughnuts 🔥While being temporarily homeless over 7 years ago we somehow imagined a GREAT donut, hopefully one that would become the best in the world but created without the use of butter, milk or eggs, completely plant based but still superior if not better than the original idea of what most yeast donuts and pastries are. We started to dream of flavors and struggled to come up with 12 at the time and today we have over a 100 flavors we have created some becoming absolute classics! 🙏🏾❤️‍🔥Almost two months ago we had a loss incredibly close to us. We were devastated, defeated, lost, and hopeless but we leaned on God and our faith. Filled with sadness, shame, and grief we retreated and focused on healing. We contemplated running away from it all but God kept re-centering us on family, community, and creativity but we still didn’t see a light at the end of the tunnel. We wanted to give up but God wanted us to keep going we are here and have only been back for a few weeks and it’s been miracle after miracle. We know the narratives that exist currently for creatives and entrepreneurs but we cannot be defined by the limitations of man but the limitless of God. We are a small batch operation, high quality, artisan made and made with extreme love. We are constantly investing in Donutste and we expect anyone looking to invest with us to understand it will not be a linear road but it will be one well paved not for just us but any small family or minority building something bigger than them. We have been through a lot and we are replenished through God to move forward, create more community, and pave a road.
