Tonight at 6 from @eiarakawa and ArtCenter MFA Pasadena: LALAWHON: An Eco-Quinquennial LALAWHON is an audio drama telling the outrageous story of a failed eco-minded art quinquennial in LA. Our story begins when an actor and a tap dancer, hired by an art magazine via TaskRabbit, journey to Costco Alhambra to review a piece of frozen food art. Next, joined by an agitated high school teacher, the group arrives at Griffith Observatory through heavy traffic to see another artwork. There, as an art handler tends to a medium who has mysteriously passed out, an Eco-riot breaks out. Things go downhill from there.
