In 2012 I found myself on the edge of a bridge, ready to end my life. I couldn’t cover up the lies any longer. The gap between who I said I was and who I actually was had become so large that I turned to ending my life as the only solution. We say we want change, but true change will never exist until you first change you. Until the “you” who you say you are and the “you” who you actually are are one in the same. When you bring the two into alignment there’s no anxiety about being someone you say you aren’t because there’s simply no ability to poke a hole in your cover “story”. In a world where it’s far too damn easy to portray someone online and regurgitate all the “right things”, be the person who actually is who they say they are.
