We started the building process back in February and I must say, building a new construction home is very different from buying one already built. Like most, there’s always pros and cons but overall, we had a great experience. I love how we were able to customize our home to our liking (floors, carpet, tile, etc.) That was def the best part, but the delays and back orders wasn’t. Whether your building or buying, start buying your items and scheduling services EARLY! Prepare yourself for delays or lengthy shipments as well. Even throughout the roadblocks, this has been a beautiful learning experience that we wouldn’t trade for anything!
