Next up from our cast we have Michele Martin! Michele Martin is an award-winning independent film and television actress. Originally from Texas, she trained in London before settling in Los Angeles. She seeks out roles and projects that convey a message about our world or spotlight important issues, but she’s known for bringing emotional reality to every role she takes on. Her indie film debut in Assisting Venus polarized audiences with her daring performance as Sophia, a young woman who openly rejected traditional gender norms in the pre-#MeToo era. In Blue, she stars as a girl who befriends an unusual-looking outcast in a small mountain town, while dealing with her own abusive father, played by Kenny Johnson. Recognized for her performance and writing, the film was awarded Best Feature at the Orlando Film Festival. Michele plays a love-obsessed yoga practitioner in the Amazon Prime comedy series Park Acrobats and brought humanity to the pivotal role of defiant mass murder victim Donna Lyons in Robert Patrick’s chilling true crime thriller Last Rampage. Among numerous stage performances, she recently portrayed Natalie Wood in a play at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Michele’s feature film directing debut Howl, a psychological thriller that tears open the mind of a troubled Little Red Riding Hood, will be released on VOD platforms worldwide in October. She plays a free spirited conceptual artist in the upcoming comedy You Are Here, and stars in the title role of Emily in an upcoming television series about android companions. She is currently filming two roles in a groundbreaking immersive television feature Voyeur.
