How can you not smile after seeing this image taken by photographer @vanlamphotography? 🐤 "I took this photograph last year during the nesting season of the Piping Plover. These little Plover chicks are so tiny and in order to get any decent background, I had to be very low to the ground. I took this using a ground pod and laid flat on the sand just to wait for one to cross. Using a higher shutter is important since they are constantly moving around and can move very fast."
