#tbt I was recently invited to @tamu for their Impact Gala Finale. It was a gospel brunch featuring their Gospel Choir The Voices of Praise. I was pleasantly surprised to run into @kirkfranklin there as well. He got wind of the event and made his way there to surprise the guests and contribute mightily. Turns out that long before he started ‘Stomping” all over the world, this choir was one of the first places he served as a clinician. In these pics I am asking what he’s doing there and he is telling me ‘I am here because I love gospel music. I am it’s number one fan.’ Amen. #blackmusic
