I’m not sure that I’ve fully processed that I am in TEEN VOGUE!!! When @emilyzirimis reached out and asked if I would be interested in doing a @teenvogue photoshoot for PCOS awareness month, I honestly couldn’t believe it. All I ever wanted growing up was to see myself represented in magazines and media. This is for more than myself, it is for anyone who has been made to feel that they are anything less than beautiful and amazing. For anyone who’s family told them growing up that they needed to change, for the person who feels pressure to look a certain way because they are different. For my younger self who had so much shame and embarrassment, who never saw anybody who looked like her in the fashion magazines she collected. Thank you so much to the crew who made me feel so beautiful on set! Going to NY for this photoshoot was a big deal for me with my contamination OCD. Thank you for creating a safe space that never once made me feel uncomfortable or judged. And thank you to @beckyshorts and @maddielev202 for being the best hype woman a girl could ask for!
