What a ✨pinch me✨moment. The opportunity to moderate a panel featuring superhero 🦸🏾‍♀️ Kamala Khan aka @imanivellani, show’s creator @sanaamanat622, actress and Kamala’s mom @zenobia_shroff and director @sharmeenobaidchinoy — four South Asian powerhouses behind @disneyplus’ @msmarvelofficial was a dream.💭⚡️ Representation in @msmarvelofficial feels like it’s more than chai, lenghas and Diwali. It’s real, it speaks to the hard history of the partition, it’s nuanced with moments of Urdu and it dives deep on what a Pakistani family in the diaspora looks and feels like.🤎It’s cosmic, unreal and definitely worth watching. With a lot going behind-the-scenes, I had only a couple of days to prepare the Q&A, I wanted the conversation to flow beautifully and give the audience a raw and memorable experience with a few laughs.
