The @mypubliclands Vermilion Cliffs National Monument is a geologic treasure located in northern Arizona. The monument is home to a growing number of endangered California condors and is best known for its colorful sandstone waves. To preserve wilderness character and limit damage to the fragile area, the Bureau of Land Management limits visitation to certain areas of the monument through a permit system.
