I am not very good with losses, and I’ve been through a week full of losses in my life, but this one really does hurt! Mrs. Carson was the very first teacher I met when I first stepped my foot into Bethany Public Schools 11 years ago. I remember her walking me to my first roundup, showing me around the school, without having any idea what was going on. She was basically my school mom when it comes to school, I would go to her classroom every single day asking for help, hanging out in the room, having snacks ready for me to take ‘em! Her classroom was like my second home and she brought lots of joy and laughter not only to my life, but to others as well! Mrs. Carson, I will cherish every single moment that we have had together as you as my teacher and me as a student! Thank you for being such an inspiration and continued to become an inspiration to me and others! You will never be forgotten! I will try my hardest to keep your memory alive! R.I.P. Helene Carson
