Nothing prioritizes your perspective faster than your world going through a trial🤍 My babies have been sick. Like, so sick. They have truly been through it this year. We’ve had a rough and scary 24 hours with one & are starting all over again with the other hoping for a better recovery. It’s so hard to see the ones you love the most suffering. Not really explaining in depth because the private details are not really the point I’m feeling led to share. Oftentimes, smaller instances so quickly put me in check and remind me of the bigger understanding that my relationship with Jesus and my precious family are the foundation of what I need to be content…the rest I of course value, but I also know it does not dictate my life. There is SO much pressure and distraction around us making us feel that we have to strive for and invest in outward acknowledgment & the things this world persuades us to believe matter the most.
